Mary Lue Poole, 75, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away Sept. 29, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jack and Monie Bolyard Wheeler.
She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church, was active in many social groups including Red Hats, bingo and cards. She loved spending time with her family and children.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William "Rudy" Poole; two daughters, Chata (Jonathan) Seymour of Destin, Fla., and Tara (Dave) Snyder of Monroe, N.C.; two sons, Jeff (Becky) Poole of Florence, S.C., and Wesley (Telma) Poole of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Betty Jean Pursley of Mt. Clare, W.Va.; one brother, Franklin (Shirley) Wheeler of Lost Creek, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Monie Clifton, Jacob Poole, Caleb Poole, Maggie Haithcock, Elizabeth Poole and Lauryn Poole; and three great-grandchildren, Jazmin Lee, Parker Mazhari and Olive Mazhari.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Wheeler; and a granddaughter, Yamima Lee.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
