You can make excuses all you want for Joe Manchin, but when he was West Virginia governor he agreed to the Cap and Trade agreement (HB 103), which will kill the coal industry.
Remember that in November and beyond, if Obama and Manchin are re-elected, West Virginia will become a ghost state. Joe Manchin has voted with Obama. Manchin's betrayal - even with the West Virginians for Life - speaks volumes about his character.
