Pennsville Auxiliary will meet Monday at the home of Rose Welsh at 7 p.m. Will be discussing soup supper to be held on Oct. 13.
Pennsville township trustees will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the town hall.
Men's Bible class will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Pennsville United Methodist Church.
Pennsville Methodist women will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the church. Officers will be voted on. Election Day Dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Robert and Alex Maxwell were visitors on Saturday and Sunday and worked on building a side porch on the home of James and Beverly Sealock.
Mae Milhoan received word of her cousin's recent death. Her cousin was Orel Jones Stokes. She was the daughter of Allison and Nellie Jones. Alison was the brother of Mae's grandmother Cora Jones Hogue. She was preceded by her husband and twin brother's Daryl Jones. She was 94 years old.
On Thursday, Mary Yerian and James Yerian went to calling hours at the Morrisons Funeral Home in Bishopville. She was laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery.
Mike Yerian came to Mary's home and helped clean up the yard and bushes.
Verna Grubbs of Glouster paid a visit to Mary Yerian on Thursday. They attended high school together and have been life long friends.
Mae Milhoan received word from Connie Wallace who is in the care center at Newark that she recently broke her arm recently.
Shelly Mason of Lubbock, Texas, called Mae Milhoan Sunday and says the weather is still warm but has cooled down some. She is planning on coming up in the fall.
Bev Sidwell took her mother, Mae to McConnelsville on Wednesday for shopping. Earlier in the day she had lunch in New Lexington with Dorothy Winter.
On Friday Bev attended a ball game at Kent State and returned on the same day.
