Cambridge 41, Marietta 7
MARIETTA - John Henry tallied host Marietta's only six-pointer of the night as the host Tigers fell 41-7 here Friday evening to Cambridge during homecoming.
The Bobcats got a pair of first-half touchdown passes from Caleb Tingle, who also had TD runs of 33 and 11 yards.
Henry finished with 52 yards on 10 attempts while Tiger kicker Brent Huck booted the extra point after Henry's 3-yard TD plunge with 8:58 left in the contest.
Doddridge County 35,
Parkersburg Catholic 7
WEST UNION -Doddridge County scored in every quarter here Friday night to roll to a 35-7 win over visiting Parkersburg Catholic in a Little Kanawha Conference contest.
The Bulldogs (4-2) got 98 yards rushing and a touchdown from Wyatt Ford as well as quarterback David Lipscomb completing both of his passes for TDs, one to Jarrod Sandy for 74 yards to opening the scoring and another to Josh Briggs for 18 yards in the fourth quarter.
Peyton Sturm scored the only TD for Catholic (2-4) with 2:15 to play.
Doddridge will entertain Gilmer next Friday while Catholic hosts Valley Fayette at 1:30 p.m. next Saturday.
Ripley 27, Roane County 19
RIPLEY - Roane County's Hunter Bradley scored all three of the Raiders touchdowns here Friday night but it was Ripley that came away with the win as Tyler Pittenger rushed for 135 yards and Jake Martin 111 as the Vikings gained 271 yards on 41 carries.
Bradley rushed for 158 yards on 22 carries for Roane County.
The result of the game left both teams at 3-3.
Trimble 49, Waterford 0
GLOUSTER, Ohio -Visiting Waterford (1-5) managed just 9 first downs and 144 total yards here Friday night as Trimble (5-1) rolled to a 49-0 win in a Tri Valley Conference contest.
The Tomcats had a pair of 100-yard rushers in Brice Smother and Konner Standley.
Magnolia 35, Monroe Central 15
WOODSFIELD, Ohio -The passing combination of Tyler Hanna to Stephen Rogalski clicked for a pair of touchdowns here Friday night as Magnolia blasted Monroe Central, 35-15.
Rogalski caught TD passes of 8 and 65 yards and also scored on a 65-yard run. Hanna also hit Jake Brill with a 6-yard TD run as the Eagles ran their record 5-1. Magnolia travels to Weir next Friday night.
Rogalski, with 3,305 yards became Magnolia's all-time leading receiver, surpassing Kenny Fisher on the career list.
Cameron 40, Paden City 18
PADEN CITY -Devin Starcher rushed for 109 yards and Logan Routt passed for 177 yards as visiting Cameron sped past Paden City by a 40-18 score.
The Dragons lit up the scoreboard first on a 1-yard run by Hunter Yoders and never trailed. Brandon Cross returned a fumble 90-yards for one Wildcats score while Zach Hesley scored on a 1-yard run and Kennedy Cain on a 51-yard pass from Zach Hesley for the final score.
South Harrison 42,
Calhoun County 0
MT. ZION-Austin Glaspell rushed for 196 yards and scored three touchdowns on runs of 6, 2 and 43 yards to lead visiting South Harrison to a 42-0 shutout of Calhoun County.
Now 2-4 on the season, the Red Devils will look to rebound at St. Marys next Friday night.
Wahama 35, Southern 7
MASON -The Wahama White Falcons (6-0) cruised to 35-7 win over Southern on Friday night. Kane Roush opened the scoring for the Falcons with a 84-yard scamper in the first quarter to give Wahama an early 7-0 lead. The Falcons would increase their lead to 20 points on touchdown runs from Crandale Neal and Zach Wamsley.
Racine's lone score would come as time expired in the first half, a 66-yard scoring strike from Tristen Wolfe to Trenton Dean, putting the tally at 20-7 White Falcons at the half.
The opening score of the second half came at the end of the third quarter when the ball was snapped out of the end zone for a Falcons safety. Wahama would tally the only points in the fourth quarter a 26-yard pass to Neal from Trenton Gibbs and a 4-yard run from Roush.
Gilmer County 26, Tygarts Valley 0
GLENVILLE -Gilmer County forced four turnovers on Friday night, taking the bite out of the Bulldogs, posting a 26-0 shutout Friday night. The Titans (2-4) picked off two Bulldog passes, one by Austin Cunningham and the other by Nathan Allison. As well as recovering two fumbles one from Adam Bell and the other Andy Johnson.
The Titans opened the scoring with 4:08 left in the first on a Cunningham 30-yard run to take a 6-0 lead. The Titans would complete the games scoring in the second half on two Cunningham passes of 13 and 57 yards and a Austin Ratliff 10-yard run. The Titans will be looking to carry their impressive scoreless streak into next weeks match-up against the Doddridge County Bulldogs (4-2).
Federal Hocking 56, South Gallia 0
STEWART-Delbert Crumb rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns and the Lancers' defense held South Gallia scoreless as Federal Hocking posted a 56-0 win on Friday night.
Kyle Jackson completed all seven of his passes for 85 yards while Peyton Seel returned a punt 70 yards for one score and Romie Casey returned the second half kickoff 59 yards for another six-pointer.
Braxton County 8, Liberty (H) 7
CLARKSBURG-Host Liberty Harrison (1-5) scored the first points of the game on Ty Noss' 20-yard run in the second overtime and David Moore connected for the PAT, however, those would not be enough points.
Visiting Braxton County, now 3-3, finally got on the scoreboard on an 8-yard run by Jacob Yanero and won the game when the senior quarterback scampered over for the two-point conversion.
