Linda S. Jones Loiseau, 57, of Parkersburg, passed away Sept. 27, 2012, at her home.
She was born April 21, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of Barbara Taylor Jones and the late James L. Jones Sr.
She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and Mountain State College. She worked in the Radiology Department at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, James Richard "Rich" Loiseau; three children, Crystal Howerton and her friend, Justin Watkins, Richard H. Starcher and his wife, Olivia, and Cynthia Starcher and her friend, William Matthews; seven grandchildren, Hunter Wayne Starcher, Tiffany Bosso, Nathanial "Nater Bug" Bosso, Isaiah Starcher, Evan Starcher, Tianna Starcher and Austin George; eight siblings, Kenneth L. Jones, Franklin F. (Angie) Jones, Felicia R. (Larry) Walco, L. Robin (William) Sweeney, James L. (Karen) Jones Jr., Calvin P. (Joe) Jones, Tonya Mercer and Timothy R. Jones; ex-husband, Howard Wayne Starcher; mother-in-law, Mary "Granny" Loiseau; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; and two step-sons, Michael and Richard "Red" Loiseau.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. N. Shah, Dr. Kyathari and their staffs as well as Housecalls Hospice.
Services will be noon Monday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
