Robert and Mary Sommerville will celebrate their 65th anniversary.
They were married Sept. 26, 1947, in Clarksburg by the Rev. A. E. Crites.
He is the son of the late Ralph and Ona Sommerville. He is retired from the United States Postal Service.

She is the daughter of the late Shirley and Ethel Cole. She was a homemaker and mother.
They are the parents of five children, Bob (Janet) Sommerville of Richmond, Va., Shelia Scadden of Belmont, Sam Sommerville of Charleston, Rev. David (Lynn) Sommerville of Craigsville and Mark (Debbie) Sommerville of Cincinnati. They have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
