Ronald and Lou Haught of Boaz will celebrate their 50th anniversary Sept. 29.
They were married on Sept. 29, 1962, in Auburn, W.Va.
He is the son of the late Joshua and Thelma (Deem) Haught of Beatrice, W.Va. He is retired from DuPont.

She is the daughter of Bethel (Webb) Baker and the late Paige Baker of Auburn, W.Va. She worked many years at Union Insulating/Challenger Electrical and Woodcraft Supply.
They are members of the Independent Baptist Church in Vienna.
They have two sons, Rick Haught of Harrisville and Ryan Haught of St. Marys. They have have four grandchildren.
The couple's children are inviting family and friends to a celebration from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at North Bend State Park, Shelter 3. They request no gifts.
