Pennsville United Methodist Women met Sept. 11. Purpose was said by all present. Joyce Wentland gave programs - World Thanksgiving Service - Letting go to be thankful. Roll call was answered by seven members. Prayers were given for the five missionaries by Rita Martin. Response Moment-Living for Christ by Becky Martin. Discussed that five members are going to Annual Day in Zanesville on Sept. 22. Four sympathy cards were sent.
Mr. and Mrs. James Sealock attended the funeral of Rita (Sealock) Wheeler on Sept. 10 at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell. Rita was an aunt of James.
Saturday visitor at the home of Mary Yerian of Glouster was her cousin, Dick Mason of Columbus. Dick's 82nd was on Sept. 18. She fixed him a birthday dinner and they enjoyed the time very much.
Bev Sidwell went to Kent State to get Rob and they went shopping on the way home. He will be the preacher at Tridelphia Church of Christ on Sunday and will return to Kent State on Monday.
