Daniel Elwood Athey, 60, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Daniel was born Tuesday, March 18, 1952 in Marietta to Kermit Elwood and Nora Ida Parks Athey.
Daniel worked at Eramet as a Furnance Tapper.
He is survived by his wife Esther Lanelle Bowman Athey; daughter Sarah Laura Corbett (William) and son Andrew Elwood Athey; grandchildren Aiden and Reagan Corbett, sisters Norene Thompson (Charles) and Sue Beardmore (Kenneth).
The service and burial were held for friends and family at East Lawn Memorial Park.
