Pamela Rene Piggott and David Michael Romine were united in marriage on July 28 at the Blennerhassett Hotel in Parkersburg. The Rev. Luke Easter performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Claude and Sharon White of Parkersburg.

The groom is the son of Mike and Vickey Romine of Parkersburg and Ralph and Regina Dexter of Waverly.

The bride was presented in marriage by her son, Blake Piggott. She wore a diamond white stapless bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice was encrusted with delicate embroidery and beading along the bodice and dropped waistline. The gown had a chapel-length train with scattered metallic beading.

Maid of honor was Michelle West, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Gabrielle West, niece of the groom, and Calli and Addison Long, great-nieces of the bride.

Best man was Zack Romine, son of the groom. Ring bearers were Lucas West, nephew of the groom, and C.J. and Austin Carrodus, great-nephews of the bride.

The bride is a 1990 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with degrees in criminal justice and business administration. She is employed by the Bureau of Public Debt.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He is employed by Specialty Piping Corp.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the ballroom of the Blennerhassett Hotel.

After a honeymoon trip to Wilmington, N.C., the couple will reside in Parkersburg.
