Rosalee Hussell, 76, of Mount Alto, W.Va., passed away Sept. 5, 2012, at her home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1936 in Norwich Township, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ercie Arles and Amanda (Rooker) Morris. Her grandson, Franz P. Metz also preceded her in death.
She was a servant to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of the Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher and bulletin board designer. She was a former employee of Bell Telephone, a housewife, co-owner and office manager for Craftsmanship Homes, Inc. in Hobe Sound, Fla. and co-owner of River Watch Farm, at Mount Alto.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lewis Parke Hussell; children and their spouses, Kenneth and Elaine Hussell of Mount Alto, Melissa and Franz H. Metz of Live Oak, Fla. and Chris and Mary Hussell of Cary, N.C.; grandchildren, Malerie Metz, Kenneth Hussell Jr., Joey Hussell, Ashley Hussell, Kristin Schlittler, Curtis Darst and Brittany Darst; brothers, Darryl Morris of Schuyler, Va. and Brad Morris of Cairo, W.Va., and sister, Marilyn Escue of Old Hickory, Tenn.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, W.Va., with Minister Franz H. Metz officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Mount Alto. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
