It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of William Cremeans announces his passing on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at the age of 63.
William was born Aug. 17, 1949 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Finley J. and Tina M. (Hudson) Cremeans. He was the proud owner of the corporation named Dew Drop Inn. He met many fine people there and made many long-lasting friends. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his dog Molly.
He is survived by his son and three daughters, Dave Eaton of Vienna, Tracy Anderson and her husband Brian of Vienna, Tina Matlack and her husband John of Vienna, and Tara Collins and her husband Abe of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren, Lauren, Madeline, Jacob, Maxwell, Olivia, Macey, Laken, Shannon, Alex, and Anna; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Wyatt; one brother, Jim Cremeans of Boyton Beach, Fla.; one sister, Roseann Venham of Amesville, Ohio, and multiple nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Dianna Sue (Bennett) Cremeans and one brother, Finley Cole Cremeans.
He will be forever remembered for his incredible strength and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be Sunday, Sept. 2 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Joe Law officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
