Obama, McGraw share visions

August 26, 2012
Parkersburg News and Sentinel

I love the state of West Virginia just as much as I love the United States. It is that love and affection for my state that encourages me to write a letter about what is going on in our state right now. We have a president that is radically against coal unlike any president I've seen in my lifetime. We have an attorney general who openly supports the president's vision for West Virginia and America. We have many other state politicians who overtly support the president.

I just don't understand why they stand behind the president when the EPA regulations are killing West Virginia's jobs. It is probably because the regulations are not affecting their wallet in any way. I wonder how these politicians would feel if their salaries went down as the unemployment went down. At this point, they'd almost be working for free.

If West Virginia wants to see improvement to their state and country, it's time to stop voting for the same people you've voted for forever. It's to vote for other candidates who have a real vision for getting our jobs back. I can tell you from hearing candidates like Darrell McGraw say he voted for Obama again that their vision is more of the same.
