Cecil R. Berry, 69, of St. Marys, husband of Rebecca Kelley Berry, died Thursday Aug. 23, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1943, in Fairmont, W.Va., the son of the late Cecil A. and Ruth A. Michaels Berry. He was a WVU Engineering graduate and retired after 28 years with Allegheny Power where he was superintendent of operations. He loved spending time with family, his dogs and in his garage.
Survivors other than his wife include five children, Cecil B. (Monica) Berry, Brian (Dawn) Berry, Jennifer (Matt) Cox, Wayne (Libby Bookman) Pitts and Jennifer LeAnn (Craig Wilson) Gregg; 10 grandchildren, Robbie, Kristin and Caitlyn Berry, Brayden Wilson, Chance Cox, Ondreya Berry, Sophia Berry, Makinzie Wilson and Lulu and Connor Pitts; one great-grandchild, Parker Berry; one brother, Robert A. Berry, Rivesville, W.Va.; and one sister, Elizabeth Lemley.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys with Pastor Richard Cale officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Rivesville. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys.
