Donald and Carol Bibbee of Vienna will celebrate their 60th anniversary Sept. 1 with a private family dinner to be held at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
They were married Aug. 31, 1952, in a ceremony at the home of the bride. The bride's mother, sister, brother-in-law and the groom's parents attended. A reception was held in the afternoon with family and friends.
He worked for the Ideal Corporation in Parkersburg from 1953 until he retired in 1989.

He enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking and biking.
She worked as a sales associate for Elberfelds Department Store in Parkersburg. She enjoys reading, game shows and spending time with her grandchildren.
The couple attends 36th Street Church of Christ in Vienna.
They are the parents of Nancy (Lee) Baker, Roger Bibbee, Cheryl Bibbee and Rick Bibbee, all of Vienna.
They have seven grandchildren, the late Kurt Baker, Andrew (Christie) Baker of Little Rock, Az., Adam (Jocelyn) Bibbee of Morgantown, Braden Bibbee, Chase Bibbee, Brandon (Jaima) Brown and Rachel Cumberledge, all of Vienna.
They have one great-grandson, Cole Baker of Vienna.
