Samantha Kettering and Justin Hill were married June 2 at the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Terry Schmelzenbach and Jeff Bergeson.
The bride is the daughter of Todd and Carla Kettering of Fleming. She is the granddaughter of Jean and the late Ralph Kettering, and the late Sharon Jr. and Alma Blume.
She is a 2012 graduate of Kenyon College with a bachelor's degree in English.

The bridegroom is the son of Anthony Hill of Belpre and Cheryl Shepard of Parkersburg.
He is the grandson of Lillie and the late Franklin Hill. He is set to graduate in 2013 from Case Western Reserve University, where he is majoring in cognitive science.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. She wore a white satin, strapless ball gown with silver embroidery and beading along the bodice and edge of the train, with pick-ups in the skirt, and a tiara from Exeter, England, and a veil. She carried white roses, purple freesias and ivy. The lace in her bouquet was from her mother's wedding bouquet.
The maid of honor was Cassandra Kettering, sister of the bride.
She wore a black satin, strapless, knee-length dress with a lilac sash. The bridesmaids were Katherine Ey, Nicole Best, Megan McCallister and Shannon Moore.
They wore black satin, knee-length dresses with straps and lilac sashes. The flower girl was Cara Rucker.
Jeremy Rayl, friend of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Doug Phillips, Jonathan Hebb, Derrick Kettering, brother of the bride, and Christopher Skaggs.
The pianist was Jenny Rucker, and the violinist was Claire Dent. Vocalists were Bob and Mary Ellen VanCamp. Guests were registered by Becky McCallister.
A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Marietta Shrine Building.
After a honeymoon to Berlin, Ohio, the couple reside in Cleveland.
