Leenell Oneta Francis, 92, of Marietta, Ohio, departed this life on Aug. 18, 2012, at Marietta.
She was born March 9, 1920, a daughter of the late Herley Roy and Bessie Rozetta Mason DeLancey.
She had been employed by Pennsboro Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Wince Chapel United Methodist Church, Pike, W.Va. She made countless quilts and gave them as presents to her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Lyle Francis, Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Russell DeLancey, Leavittsburg, Ohio, and Kenton DeLancey, Ellenboro, W.Va.; two grandsons, Roger Francis and Richard Francis; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearlie Francis; and a infant son, Billy Joe Francis.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, W.Va., with Pastor Brian Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
