Spaghetti dinner slated

A spaghetti dinner will be held today at the Pennsville United Methodist Church following church services at noon.

South will have Open House on Aug. 20 from 5-6 p.m. The first day of school is Aug. 22.

Youth Back to School Bash will be held at Pennsville United Methodist Church. Zack Shelton will be singing at 4 p.m. at the church.

Food, drinks and games will be held. All youth invited to attend.

Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department to get ready for its fair will meet on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Fire Food Stand to get the stand ready.

Ben, Pamela, Jessica, Jacob, Jeremiah Mosier held a singing service at Todd's United Methodist Church with a good attendance and everyone enjoyed the service.

The Mosiers were also at Pennsville United Methodist Church held a singing service with a good attendance and everone.

On Monday guests at the home of Mary Yerian of Glouster were her son, Jim, Mike, Steve and Heather and Gretchen Yerian. The occasion was Jim's 70th birthday.

On Thursday Bev Sidwell went to Kent State and got Rob and took him home for the weekend. On the way home they stopped at the Farmer's Market for vegetables and fruit. They shared with Bev's mother Mae.

On Sunday the lightening struck at the Milhoan home and it took out the telephone lines and the telephone and two televisions and receivers. After churchTom Charles went to the Milhoan home and repaired some of the damage. Mae was pleased with the help she received.

Robert, Sherri and Alex Maxwell were visitors on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the home of James and Beverly Sealock.
