WILLIAMSTOWN -A Marietta man is in stable condition following a drunk driving accident in Williamstown this morning.
Williamstown Police Chief BD Adkins said Brett Bronski, 43, of Marietta, had to be cut from his car after it struck a tree on W.Va 14, around 3 a.m. Friday morning.
Adkins said Bronski was traveling north on W.Va 14 at a high rate of speed, went off the road to the right, struck a No Parking sign, guard rail and tree. Adkins said alcohol was a factor.
Bronski was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital. He is listed in stable condition, according to hospital officials. He was also charged with DUI.
