Ima Gaye Tolley Brown, 78, of Given, W.Va., entered eternal rest on Aug. 14, 2012, at Eldercare in Ripley, W.Va..
She was born Aug. 15, 1934 in Vicars, W.Va., the daughter of the late Romie E. and Beulah M. Tolley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carroll R. Brown in 2004. She was also preceded in death by one brother Romie Noel Tolley in 1982.
She is survived by two sons, Miles Brown and his wife Diane of Kansas City, Mo., and Ralph Brown and his wife Maida of Given, W.Va.; one daughter Carolyn Agosti and friend Allen Harper of Given, W.Va.. She is also survived by two brothers, Cleo Tolley and his wife Judy of Huntington, Md. and James Tolley and his wife Joyce of Hagerstown, Md.
She was also a loving grandmother of five grandchildren, Nicholas Brown and friend Allison Peecock of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jacob Brown and wife Tiffany of Given, W.Va., Travis Brown and wife Betsy of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Kayla Brown Butcher and husband Dewey of Sandyville, W.Va., and Corey Agosti of Given, W.Va., and two great grandchildren, Byron and Tori Brown of Cross Lanes, W.Va.
She attended Emma Chapel Church near Liberty, W.Va. and was a homemaker.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Burial will be at Roane County at the Ferrell Cemetery located at Vicars, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
