I had the opportunity to work with Steve Nicely over 25 years. I watched the transformation of a travel council to a full service convention and visitors bureau for the people of Wood County and the Mid-Ohio Valley, as well as our of area visitors. Steve and the CVB were able to transform private sector resources to maximize public budget dollars to market our valley's assets and potential.
The CVB has always been partnership oriented in order to establish the best community driven organization to achieve the best venue for telling our story. Steve and the CVB deserve two thumbs up:
The Mid-Ohio Valley will miss his thoughts and insight in marketing our historic assets and travel opportunities.
Because of Steve, thousands of people know about our valley through the CVB. Hope Steve's retirement is peaceful for him and his family.
