Dr. John R. and Ruth Corder celebrated their 60th anniversary on Aug. 7 with their family at Hilton Head Island.
They were married Aug. 7, 1952, at McWhorter Methodist Church in McWhorter, W.Va.
Corder was a dentist in Parkersburg from 1960 until 2004.
