Roger Lee Roupe, 58, of Coolville, Ohio, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., passed away on July 26, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He had worked with the United Steel Workers in construction. Roger loved his place on the river in Parkersburg where he spent most of his time enjoying being with friends. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with his buddies.
Roger is survived by his wife Rhonda Roupe of the home; two sons, Roger Lee Roupe II of Weirton and Jonathan Andrew (Andy) Roupe of Hurricane, W.Va.; his former wife, Patricia Moles; a sister, Kimberly Westfall and husband, Roby Westfall, of Cumberland, Ohio; two nephews, Bryan and Brandon Westfall; a niece, Brittany Westfall; and many, many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Stiltner Roupe.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Buddy Deem officiating. Burial will be at Torch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today, prior to the service.
