Connie Lou Beck, 69, formerly of Pennsboro, passed away July 25, 2012, at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro.
She was born Jan. 3, 1943 in Pennsboro, a daughter of the late Harvey James McCloy and Clyde Corlene (Jones) McCloy. Connie retired from the Bureau of Public Debt in Parkersburg with 30 years service. She attended the 19th St. Church of God in Parkersburg and the Pennsboro Church of God.
Surviving are her children, Helen Hughes and her husband John of Germantown, Md., Terri Griffith and her husband Terry of Middletown, Md., and Eric Beck and his wife Jenny of Fairfield, Pa.; a brother, Jerry McCloy of Deland, Fla.; and nine grandchildren, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Meghan, Jessica, Nicole, Jacob and Angela and Kristen and Elijah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Clista Sue Kelly; brother, Jack McCloy; and infant sister, Sandra Kay McCloy.
Funeral services will be Sunday 2 p.m., at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Rev. Paul Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at the Pullman Cemetery. Visitation will be today, 4-7 p.m.
