Haskell and Elladene Sinclair will celebrate their 60th anniversary.

They were married by Rev. Charles Knapp at his home in Belleville, W.Va. on Aug. 1, 1952.

He is the son of the late Haskell Sinclair Sr. and Pauline South Sinclair. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and four years in inactive reserves.

He retired from American Cyanamid Co. in 1992. He farms black angus cattle and belongs to the farm bureau, WCBA, WVCA, Vienna Lodge 172 A.F. & A.M. and American Legion Post 15.

She is the daughter of the late Tom and Laura Forshey. She retired in 1993 from A.B. Chance Co. She enjoys cooking, sewing, quiliting, crocheting, making cards, feeding the birds and playing her organ.

They are members of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Waverly.

They are the parents of Randall (Brenda) Sinclair.

They are the grandparents of Heather (Tom) Rowan and Scott Sinclair.

They are the great-grandparents of Ethan and Lucas Rowan of West Milford, W.Va.

An open house will be held from 3-5 p.m. Aug. 5 at the American Legion Post 15 at 2505 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg.

Cards are welcome, but gifts are thankfully declined. Cards may be sent to 7038 Deerwalk Highway, Waverly, W.Va., 26184.
