Leah Ann Bibbee

Leah Ann Bibbee, 84, of Ravenswood, W.Va., passed away July 22, 2012, at Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center, Pomeroy, Ohio.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1927 at Ravenswood, W.Va., the daughter of Chester Roush and Frankie Doherty Roush. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ravenswood Church of the Nazarene, where she was a caretaker and custodian. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years in the church.

Surviving her are three daughters, Delores Jean and Myron Shumate, Mary Ann and Larry Fleming and Elizabeth Toni and Richard Galloway, all of Ravenswood, W.Va.; four sons, Richard and Karen Bibbee of Cottageville, W.Va., Harold Lee and Diana Bibbee of Jacksonville, Fla., Frank Edwin Bibbee of Ravenswood and Robert Dean and Phoebe Bibbee of Ravenswood; numerous grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bibbee Jr.; six brothers, Earl, Galen, Howard, Marlin, Robert and Dean Roush; and two sisters, Blanche "Toots" Roush and Rita Jean Baker.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 27, 2 p.m., at Ravenswood Church of the Nazarene, Ravenswood, W.Va. with Pastor Bob Schmidt assisted by Pastor Dave Shirer officiating. Burial will follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church.
