COTTAGEVILLE - The 2012 Jackson County Junior Fair will feature six days of activities, entertainment and other attractions from today through Saturday, including longtime country music star Joe Diffie on Tuesday night.
Daily admission is $8 for adults and $5 for ages 2-11, while season passes are $25 and $10. Carnival rides are not included in the admission fee.
Diffie will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Since 1990, he has charted 35 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including five number one singles. His hits include "Home," "If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets)," "Third Rock from the Sun," "Pickup Man" and "Bigger Than the Beatles."

Country music singer Joe Diffie will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the 2012 Jackson County Junior Fair.
Other headliners at the fair will include Eli Young Band on Wednesday, Edens Edge on Thursday, Jason Crabb on Friday and James Wesley on Saturday.
The fair will also feature ATV drag racing, a demolition derby, tractor pulls, mud racing, four-wheel-drive pulls and other activities throughout the week.
