Dick and Charlotte "Char" Haught Parsons of Belpre, celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 25.
They were married July 25, 1962, by the late Rev. J. R. Gillespie at Lauckport Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
He is the son of the late Rev. Charles M. Parsons and Geraldine Tingler Parsons. He retired from Warner Pontiac-Kia Inc. of Parkersburg. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

She is the daughter of the late Jerry Haught and Evelyn Radkee Haught. She also retired from Warner Pontiac-Kia Inc.
They are the parents of daughter, Tonda (Craig) Sevy of Vincent; son, Troy (Kathy) Parsons of Belpre; and daughter, Tracey (Dave) Freeman of Trimble, Ohio.
They have four grandchildren, Shane Sevy, Colton Parsons, Miranda (Joe) Pittman and Jesse Ruble.
