Sylvia Mae Stewart, 102, of Belpre, Ohio, died at the Parkersburg Care & Rehab Center on July 14, 2012.
She was born in Harrisville, W.Va., on May 1, 1910, and was the daughter of the late Abner H. and Ella Mae Mitchell Frederick.
She was a member of Calvary Community Church since 1967 and had worked in the church nursery. She had worked for Sanitary Linens and American Viscoe.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Jack Carmichael of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Award E. Stewart in 2000; brothers, Clifford and Earl Frederick; sisters, Icy Chapman and Jetta Orem; and an infant brother and sister.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Ken Fullerton officiating. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
