Claire Ann Meadows, 83, of Belpre, Ohio, living at Heartland of Marietta, went to be with her Lord on July 14, 2012.
She was born at Spencer, W.Va., on Feb. 15, 1929, and was the daughter of the late William F. and Jessie M. Starcher Suttle.
She graduated from Spencer High School. She was a member of Independant Baptist Church in Vienna.
Claire Ann is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (William) Morris of Belpre, Ohio; three aunts, Bernice Chambers of Ravenswood, W.Va., Evelyn Starcher of Spencer, W.Va., and Lois Scofield of Mansfield, Ohio; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William E. Meadows; and her son-in-law, William D. Carney.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Michael Elder and Pastor Robert May officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6-8:30 p.m. and one hour prior to services Tuesday.
