Once again Marietta is taking things away from our children. As a child we couldn't wait for the ice cream truck to come by so we could take our dollar out and get some ice cream on a hot, sunny day. Still to this day the music of a ice cream truck makes me feel like a kid again. But because of a "few" people objecting to this they aren't allowed to drive the truck through Marietta any longer. If they are going to complain about this then I think they need to take ice cream out of all convenience stores and grocery stores and close all ice cream shops in town also.
Come on! What makes a difference if a child gets an ice cream bar once a week on a hot summer day. Quit taking the things away from a child that makes them a child. Let them be children as long as they can because soon enough they will have to face the world as adults!
