Earl Wilson, 92, of Glenville, passed away July 11, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.
Born April 30, 1920, near Chestnut Lick, he was a son of the late Lonnie and Ora Dell Duelley Wilson.
He was a veteran of World War II and attended Kanawha Drive Baptist Church at Glenville.
Surviving are his wife, Lilly Gay Wilson; a daughter, Margie Lee Wade of Glenville; four grandchildren, Kenneth and wife, Donna, of Burnsville, Lewis Ray and wife, Norma, of Glenville, Anna Wade of Strasburg, Va., and Richard and wife, Nancy, of Glenville; two brothers, Dave Wilson of Glenville and Bobby Wilson and wife, Louise, of Ohio; one sister, Bertha McCune of West Fork; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dorcy and Albert; and a sister, Luella.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Interment will be in Jobs Temple Cemetery, Glenville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
