I just wanted to send out a little helpful tip, in case we are without power again. My husband was out in the yard collecting all the items that had been blown around from the storm, and one of the items was a solar light. As soon as he brought it in the house it kicked on and it worked all night, and it was plenty of light for my front room.
We didn't have to worry about batteries, or fire and heat from candles, it was hot enough. I hope this helps out.
