The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leonard and Sara Hamilton. She is the granddaughter of the late Dean and Thalia Becker and the late Glen and Helen Hamilton. She received a bachelor's degree from Marietta College and a master's degree from West Virginia University. She is a third-grade teacher for Marietta City Schools.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Starling and Linda Zink. He is the grandson of the late Paul and Irene Zink and the late Charles and Lucile Gasser.
