Longtime resident of Wood County, Ettore "Art" Angelilli, 90, died June 20, 2012, at his residence in Vienna.
He was born June 27, 1921 in Beaver County, Pa., a son of the late Carmine and Angela Romona Angelilli.
Art retired from the U.S. Air Force, where he spent the last six years of service as a recruiter in the Wood County area.
Art also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a life member of the American Legion Post #15, VFW 1212 and Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Grace Cunningham Angelilli; a daughter, Angela and her husband Herb Mowery of Harker Heights, Texas; two sons, Michael and his wife Becky Angelilli of Midlothian, Va., Kevin and his wife Jennifer Angelilli of Washington, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Vienna, with Father John Gallagher as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with miliary graveside rites by the American Legion Post #15.
Visitation will be today, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with a Rosary Service at 8 p.m.
