A 2-year old boy was attacked and killed by two dogs Wednesday in St. Marys after walking into a neighbor's yard, officials said.
West Virginia State Police and Pleasants County Sheriff's Office responded to the Oak Grove Road area around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday after an emergency call from the boy's father.
According to a press release from the West Virginia State Police's St. Marys Detachment, a 2-year-old boy walked into a neighbor's yard while playing and was attacked and killed by two mixed-breed dogs. The boy's father found him in the yard behind the neighbor's residence, police said.
