Donna L. Conley Thompson

Donna Lee Conley Thompson, 73, of Sandyville, passed away June 9, 2012, at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born May 16, 1939 at Ripley, a daughter of the late William and Flossie Stanley Conley. She was a homemaker and a member of Medina Community Church. She will always be known for her love of her family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carl Ray Thompson; a daughter, Debra Thompson; and a grandson, Andrew Cline.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Thompson of Evans and Mark Thompson of Ravenswood; two daughters, Lynn Griffith of Ravenswood and Mary Cline-Greathouse of South Amherst, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the many caregivers who helped care for Donna during her illness these past weeks.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Bernard "Bud" McVey officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
