Jewell, Frye sentenced in court

PARKERSBURG- Two sentencings and a plea were heard Friday in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Michael Anthony Jewell, 52, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was sentenced after his plea of guilty to a charge of escape. He was sentenced to five years in prison with credit for five years served to run concurrently to a sentence on a 2009 case.

* Reco James Frye, 23, 1007 12th St., Apt. 4, Vienna, was sentenced after he admitted to a certain allegation in a petition to revoke his probation. He was sentenced to three 120-day sentences with credit for 18 days to be served consecutively on home confinement.

* Christina Renae Jackson, 28, in custody, pleaded guilty to a felony bill of information charging her with delivery of a controlled substance. Her sentencing was set for 9 a.m. Aug. 9 before Judge J.D. Beane.
