Robert L. and Martha Moore of Smithburg, W.Va., will celebrate their 50th anniversary on June 16.
They were were married June 17, 1962, by Rev. Charles Parrish at the Smithburg EUB Church.
He is the son of the late Harley and Thelma Moore of Smithburg and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as postmaster of Smithburg with 30 years of service.

She is the daughter of the late Rev. Forrest and Ada Murray of Smithburg. She is a homemaker.
They are the parents of one daughter, the late Kim.
An open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. June 16 at the Doddridge County Senior Citizens Center in West Union. Cards are welcome, but omit gifts.
