PARKERSBURG - A Parkersburg man wanted on a shoplifting charge turned himself in to police Thursday.

Ronnie Lee Lockhart, 42, was identified on a surveillance tape at the southside Wal-Mart last week. He was observed walking out of the store with a lawnmower valued at $284, said Sgt. Greg Collins, spokesman for the Parkersburg Police Department.

Lockhart was arraigned at Wood County Magistrate Court Thursday on a charge of shoplifting and was released on $1,000 bond.
