Sara Elizabeth Pore and Brent Matthew Deems were united in marriage on May 6 at Fort Boreman Park, with Pastor Dennis Morgan of the Rock Family Worship Center officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Barbara Pore, and the granddaughter of Lois Ebersbach of Chester, Ohio. She is a 2005 graduate of Eastern High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Rio Grande with a degree in diagnostic medical sonography and is pursuing a master's degree in health administration at Ohio University.

She is employed at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

The groom is the son of Randy and Kelita Deems of Vienna and the grandson of James and Judy Wilson of Belpre. He is a 2010 graduate of Warren High School and is pursuing a degree in exercise science at Belmont University. He is employed by Macy's.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a white gown trimmed in elaborate embroidery with a bouquet of white roses and blue hydrangeas.

The matron of honor was Jessica Staley of Chester, sister of the bride. Serving as best man was Eric S. Deems of Nashville, brother of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party had a celebration dinner on the patio of the Blennerhassett Hotel.

The couple plans a Caribbean cruise this fall.

An open house reception will be held June 23 at the home of the groom's parents, 1101 13th Ave, Vienna.
