She is the granddaughter of Angelo Alastanos and the late Susan Alastanos of Clarksburg and Chuck and Marion Powell of Nutter Fort, W.Va.

She is a 2004 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in medical technology.
She is a medical technologist at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rick and Pam Kellar of Williamstown. He is the grandson of Richard and Marilyn Kellar of Williamstown and Chuck and Mary Bibbee of Parkersburg and the late Norma Jean Bibbee. He is a 2001 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2005 graduate of Marietta College with a degree in allied health. He is a field service representative at West Virginia University Hospital Laboratories in Morgantown.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 18 in Morgantown.
