William E. "Bill" and Joyce A. Yocum of Parkersburg will celebrate their 50th anniversary.
They were married May 26, 1962, at the Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna. The Rev. Claude Ash officiated.
She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Young of Vienna. She is a site coordinator for the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

He is the son of the late William and Opal Yocum of Parkersburg. He retired from the United States Navy (MMCM) and the former Shell Chemical.
They are the parents of Bill Yocum of Washington, W.Va., Jill (Bill) Hupp of Washington and Allen (Michelle) Yocum of Parkersburg.
Their grandchildren include Travis, Nathan, Mason and Jakob Hupp, and Kendra Yocum.
There will be an open house at 1 p.m. May 26 at the Lubeck Community Civic Center, on Lubeck Road, off of W.Va. 68 in Lubeck.
