Carl and Frances Gillilan of Coolville will celebrate their 70th anniversary. They were married May 15, 1942, at the Methodist Parsonage in Reedsville, Ohio, by Rev. E.L.Miller.
He is the son of the late Stanley and Florence Gillilan. He is a retired mail carrier and a retired United Brethren minister.
She is the daughter of the late Edward and Freda Blake. She was secretary and timekeeper for L.C.Smith & Corona Typewriters Inc. in Syracuse, N.Y., during World War II. She is a homemaker and mother.
