H. Marie Leisure, 79, of Walker, passed away on May 5, 2012, at the Arbors at Marietta.
She was born in Sandyville, W.Va., on Dec. 3, 1932, a daughter of the late Milford and Sarah Snyder Hinzman.
Marie had been active with the DAV 32 with her late husband, Harry Leisure, and with Stillwell Union Church.
She is survived by her children, Donald Lester Williams of Newark, W.Va., Edith Fay Duvall and Jack of Barlow, Sarah Alice Shepherd of Vienna and David Eric Williams and Stacy of Parkersburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Rhonda Stone, Kathryn Rollins and Janet Jeske; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, Huston Williams; third husband, Harry Mason Leisure; daughter-in-law, Judy Williams; brother, Rufus Hinzman; sisters, Rosie Rhoads, Addie Riggs and Elvie Riggs; and stepchildren, Melba, Hazel, Barbara and Charles.
The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Jim Eakle officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and from 2-3 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
