Registration is still being accepted for the Mid-Ohio Valley Golf Tournament scheduled for May 19-20 at Woodridge Golf Club in Mineral Wells.
The event is open to all golfers and is a stroke-play, individual tournament with a gross and net division. An optional two-man best ball division also will be offered.
In conjunction with the MOV Golf Tournament, the "Purple Pride" banquet is slated for 6 p.m. Sunday (May 20) with special guest and keynote speaker Pat White, who played quarterback for the West Virginia University football team. Pat White also will be golfing both days. Tickets for the banquet are separate from the golf tournament and are available to the public.

Banquet tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased at the Parkersburg South and Parkersburg High School athletic offices for $100 per person. Table sponsorships (seats eight people) are available for $1,000 by calling Karen Kibble at 304-863-6545. Table sponsors and their guests are also invited to a reception for Pat White before before the banquet.
