MARIETTA - Four people were arrested Monday on drug charges after police searched a Wells Avenue apartment.
Keith D. Transou, 42, and Angela J. Oliver, both of 35117 Wells Ave., Apt B, Marietta, along with Dejha L. Dave, 24, 3310 East Sixth Ave., Apt 4, Columbus, and Ethelyn R. R. L. Boswell, 20, 3296 East Mound St., Columbus, were charged with one count each of trafficking in cocaine and one count each of trafficking in heroin, said officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The Major Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at Transou's apartment Monday after receiving information that he was allegedly dealing drugs, said police.
Agents were met at the door of the apartment by Oliver, and they located Dave and Boswell inside a bedroom. The suspects were in possession of 27 grams of crack and powder cocaine and 11.9 grams of black tar heroin, in addition to plastic bags, razor blades and digital scales, officials said. Some of the bags contained cocaine packaged for resale, officials said.
All were transported to the Washington County Jail and were being held without bond Monday night.
