Beulah M. Bibbee, 90, of Belpre, Ohio died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Heartland of Marietta. She was born in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William D. and Bina (McLaughlin) Porter.
She worked at O'Ames Company and also at Best Photo. She was a 1940 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She sold Tupperware, Artex paints, and Trichem.
She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Bibbee (Jackie) of Little Hocking, Ohio and Richard L. Bibbee (Lynn) of Hagerstown, Md.; a daughter, Barbara A. Wells (Wyatt) of Belpre, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Scott McPherson, Brian McPherson, Angie Panthges, Mistie Bibbee, Shannon Bibbee, Krista Eby, Rachel Bibbee, and Brandon McPherson; five great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Ritchea of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, P.E. Bibbee; sister, Irene Collins; brother, Edward Porter; two granddaughters, Pam McPherson and Rhiannan Bibbee; and a great-granddaughter, Paige Ryan Bibbee.
Services will be Monday 2 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Jody Vaughan officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, Ohio 43216-6810.
