David Michael "Mike" Brookover, 52, of Kent, Ohio died at the Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio.
He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va. and was the son of Patty Lou Sellers Brookover Belknap of Lubeck, W.Va. and the late Chester "Chuck" Brookover. He had been a General Contractor in the Parkersburg area. He was an avid golfer and Mountaineer fan.
Survivors include his wife Liz Brookover; two sons, Josh (Julie) Brookover and Cody (Stacy) Brookover; grandson, Levi Brookover; his mother, Patty (Arnie) Belknap; a brother, John Brookover; two sisters, Karen Collins and Debbie Brookover-Blais; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Chester "Chuck" Brookover.
Friends may call at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, W.Va.
