Sylvia M. Archer, 85, of Reno, Ohio, passed away March 17, 2012, at Heartland of Marietta.
She was born in Superior, W.Va., to Ernest and Violet Turner Ulisse on Nov. 5, 1926, and grew up in Caples, W.Va.
Sylvia was a homemaker and had also worked at Allied Chemical, Hankins Container and Bowling Green State University throughout her career.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil; and her daughters, Kimberly of Upper Arlington, Ohio, and Pamela of Richland, Wash. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia (Tom) of Woodbridge, Va.; brother-in-law, Donald (Nan) of Sistersville, W.Va.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
